The Process Transformation Office (PTO) is tasked to drive business process excellence through design and implementation of harmonized, efficient and best practice processes, achieving benefits and an improved way of working for all our employees. The PTO is looking for an experienced Business Consultant with focus on

business processes in the field of Make to Demand (MTD). 

The Business Consultant is a member of the Make to Demand (MTD) Production team and reports to the Business Process Manager (BPM) Make. The role is located in Amersfoort.

Job description

Your role as a Business Consultant/Analyst will be multi-dimensional. From a solid knowledge base of production processes, as Business Consultant you drive generating value in the organization by driving development, continuous improvement, deployment and embedding & anchoring fit-for-purpose but harmonized solutions to the business. This means you are working in a true international environment where you interact with people from different cultures and in addition are able to oversee the whole chain and network organization.

 

What the Process Transformation Office does:

  • Realize deployment of the Global SAP template in our Opco’s Globally: Summit implementation projects, new business development projects
  • Identify and realize business value by driving process and system developments in close co-operation with the Business Process Owners (BPO) and/or Key Users. Bring Make processes to mature and best in class levels, based on benchmarked, outside-in approach
  • Support and execute continuous improvement initiatives driving template optimization and adoption with our internal Opco’s
  • Support Opco’s in embedding & anchoring the template processes and improvements in their daily operation

 

Your accountabilities and responsibilities within a highly dynamic and complex environment are:

  • In deployment projects, validate the Global SAP solution against local business requirements and processes and assess whether this results in a change in the way of working for the organization
  • During project realization, assure the template solution will fit business requirements and even more important, test & qualify the solution and manage the associated changes together with local business colleagues. All aimed to ensure a successful business go-live
  • Manage deployment and improvement projects or activities on aspects time, quality and budget
  • Identify roadmap template development requirements for the various business groups that focus on building maturity in solutions, methodology and organization
  • Lead the realization of continuous improvement initiatives/projects for Make globally. Identify process improvements or business value, define business requirements and assure compliance to the design principles set by the Business Process Owners
  • Support Opco’s with their change management, process improvement and aim for a standardized, efficient and effective process
  • Share good practices and learnings from within FrieslandCampina, outside trainings & networks and external benchmark organizations
  • Maintain and leverage the contacts with Subject Matter Experts in the business process network across FrieslandCampina and work closely together with peers in the other process teams

Requirements

In order to be successful in this challenging position, we expect you will bring the following qualifications:

  • Master degree
  • 3 – 7 years of functional / business experience in the field of Make Production
  • Conceptual and content knowledge of relevant business processes
  • Experience with IT projects, practices & tools and SAP (ECC / R/3, Business Warehouse)
  • Ability to understand business processes in detail and to create practical/efficient process designs, including requirements gathering, analysis and documentation
  • Strong advisory (consultancy) and interpersonal skills, able to motivate and engage others
  • Ability to create and maintain a network of business process stakeholders across the company
  • Ability to be hands on with key users and advisor to company management
  • Strong communication, business transformation and change management skills
  • Good project management skills and preferably experience with Lean/Six Sigma
  • Excellence in execution, problem solving and result oriented skills
  • Internationally focused, willingness to travel towards the various make locations in the region and also up to 25% travel to our international locations
  • Professional communication skills in English, writing and verbal
