FrieslandCampina’s Corporate Traineeship is a two-year traineeship, starting in March and September, in which you will complete two assignments in the discipline for which you have been recruited. During this assignment, you will fill an existing position and will therefore be fully responsible for the activities associated with it and corresponding targets. We believe this is the way to learn the most. Obviously you will also be offered supervision and advice.
During your traineeship, we will offer you a full range of development opportunities. You will have an interdisciplinary trainee group with which you will regularly take part in both professional and social activities. Besides several trainings with your trainee group, you will be offered a personal development program in which you will have a mentor and a personal training budget. If you use your creativity and enterprise spirit and deliver a convincing performance, you will have two wonderful years getting more out of both milk and yourself!

The assignments can be carried out at one of the FrieslandCampina production locations in the Netherlands, at our Innovation Center in Wageningen or at our Central Office in Amersfoort. FrieslandCampina is a multinational organization, which means that you will come into contact with people of different nationalities and cultures in your day-to-day work.
The selection process for the FrieslandCampina Corporate Traineeship consists of four different components. It’s a tough yet valuable procedure.
- 1st round: CV check and letter of application
If you think you are the perfect FrieslandCampina Corporate Trainee, we would like to invite you to register on the discipline within the traineeship you wish to apply for.
- 2nd round: Video motivation
After you have been selected based on your resume we will ask you to send us a short video in which you elaborate on your motivation for this specific traineeship track and why we should ask you to become our new trainee.
- 3rd round: E-assessment
If you have been pre-selected on the strength of your CV and letter of application, you will be sent a digital assessment which evaluates various skills and abilities. This is done by means of capacity tests (numerical, verbal and inductive skills), a personality questionnaire and a motivation-based questionnaire.
- 4th round: Pre-final
If you are one of the candidates who successfully pass the e-assessment, you will be invited to attend a half-day evaluation at Central Office. You will be interviewed by our business, who will discuss your motivation, you will meet our current trainees and you will be given more information about the content of our trainee programme. This is of course also a chance for you to assess us.
- 5th round: Final selection day
If you are among the top candidates who are selected after the Pre-finals, you will be invited to attend the final selection day. During this process, you will be given feedback about your e-assessment and presented with various cases.
A few days after the selection day, you will be personally notified as to whether you have been selected for our FrieslandCampina Corporate Traineeship.
