At our Business Group Dairy Essentials in Amersfoort The Netherlands, we are looking for a Controlling, Planning & Reporting analyst. In this role you will report directly to the Finance Director Supply Chain of Dairy Essentials.

Job Description

 

Your main tasks & responsibilities are the following:

 

Planning & control:

  • Manage the process on timings/deliverables from a Supply Chain perspective in close
    relation with the Cluster controllers for Cheese Make, Cheese Pack and Butter/Milkpowder;
  • Manage the budget and rolling forecast process, in close co-operation with the Financial controller for BG DE;
  • Manage the month end closing process, in close alignment with FSSC, local financial accounting teams in sales offices abroad and plant controllers at sites;
  • Responsible for timely and accurate delivery of month end, budget and rolling forecast figures in Oracle HFM;
  • Prepare the monthly business review (comments/presentation/KPI’s);
  • Support decision-making by preparation of (ad-hoc) analyses and business cases upon request. 

Management information:

  • Responsible for management information (timely, accurate and complete), including development and monitoring of  Balanced Business Plan and KPI’s to optimize performance;
  • Drive continuous improvement of the quality of management information / BW reporting / Spotfire;
  • Drive ‘self-reporting’ capabilities in organization through further development and adaptation reporting tool Spotfire.  

ICF:

  • Act as linking pin between plants in DE and the network controllers on ICF;
  • Coordinate the internal control cycle and make sure that processes are in accordance with the Internal Control Framework;
  • Liaise with internal and external auditor and drive follow up actions on audit findings Responsible for managing the FSSC activities to ensure that these are performed conform expectations;
  • Manage overhead costs for the Central teams in agreement with Budget holders;
  • Manage the job/task roles assigned to SAP users to avoid SoD conflicts;
  • Support Finance Director and Group reporting manager in more complex accounting related matters 

Requirements

 

In order to be successful in this position, we expect that you to have the following qualifications:

  • Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field;
  • At least 2/3 years working experience gained at one of the Big 4 audit organizations or gained working in a reporting role in an international organization;
  • Systems knowledge: experience with SAP and Oracle HFM is a plus. Proficient knowledge of MS Excel and Powerpoint;
  • Experience with complex reporting issues and budget processes;
  • Feeling accountable;
  • Showing ownership;
  • Pro-active / can do mentality;
  • Both detail-oriented and helicopter view;
  • Ability to handle strict deadlines;
  • Professional communication skills in English and Dutch, writing and verbal.

Our compensation benefits for this position will be the following:

  • Depending on your experience and training, a fulltime salary of €55.000 to €68.000 per year, including 8% holiday allowance;
  • Fulltime work week of 38 hours per week;
  • 25 days of leave per year, with the opportunity to buy/sell up to 5 days per year;
  • An additional short-term incentive plan (Bonus) of 10% (at target);
  • Extensive collective insurance package.
