Support the project organization, IPTEC department and BGI SC finance organization in controlling strategic (growth) projects. Provide hands on support to project managers, EPC managers in managing (strategic) BGI projects financially. Provide an adequate basis for accounting within projects in line with internal RFC/BGI finance standards and manage the project within budget and in defined risk spectrum. Be part of the core project team and be a co-pilot for the project managers. Note: Strategic ING projects are within the range of EUR 5 mln up to EUR 100 mln + spend.
Projects are performed on Ingredients sites in a separate organizational set-up. Complexity to align stakeholders from sites, projects, project steering committees, Corporate (supplying) departments (e.g. Procurement), IPTEC and BGI SC Management. Total project needs to be delivered within set timeframe, with proper (approved) quality standards and within budget. The project controller is part of the project core team to support the project with financial expertise, but also as a linking pin to the Supply Chain (finance) organization within BGI.
