In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • CAPEX Strategy Development
    To develop the spend of CAPEX strategy, in line with business and product requirements, reflecting supply market dynamics and technological changes in the marketplace, resulting in a solid CAPEX sourcing strategy and an actionable Long Range Plan (3 yrs LRP).

  • CAPEX Strategy Implementation
    – To communicate and align the CAPEX strategy (LRP) initiatives with business stakeholders, resulting in their commitment to LRP.

    – To drive the CAPEX strategy (LRP), prioritize targets and projects according to strategic importance, value and business needs, resulting in optimum solutions and achievement of agreed upon goals.

  • Relationship Management
    To establish, foster and maintain strong relationships with the Business Group Management Teams, Executives and other relevant stakeholders (Technical Management Teams, Performance Excellence Managers) across FrieslandCampina, resulting in effective and sustainable relationships.

  • Category Management
    – To execute the CAPEX category management role resulting in the professional procurement of products and services, meeting the quality standards and specifications as well as timings, at the lowest possible cost.

    – To assess and drive global initiatives

  • Supplier Management
    To serve as the key approval function in establishing supplier agreements, provide support in critical supplier negotiations and supplier relationship building, resulting commercial (framework) agreements in line with compliancy and code of conduct requirements of FrieslandCampina.

  • Financial Management & ICF
    – To secure continuous update in financial reporting, resulting in Latest Estimate on delivery against target (savings, value add) within PROPS

    – To safeguard project execution and behavior, fully in line with FrieslandCampina Compliance statement and Code of Conduct.

  • Human Resources Management
    – To motivate and build an effective team, resulting in excellent performance of direct/ functional reports.

    – To manage, coach and foster development of direct/ functional reports, resulting in effective and efficient execution of CAPEX objectives.

  • Thought Leadership
    – To act as the thought leader and key point of contact on all matters related to the CAPEX spend category, resulting in the desired level of professionalism and service delivery.

    – Continuously explore and challenge FrieslandCampina spend in CAPEX and drive related optimization.

Requirements
To be a successful in this position, you are/have:

  • Relevant Bachelor/Master degree;
  • > 10 years of relevant experience in a similar complex / international organization/ CAPEX/ projects;
  • Understanding of business and sourcing requirements, – of supply chain and of relevant markets;
  • Understanding of Financial Management;
  • Strong strategic thinker (vision) with strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Able to motivate and manage people.
