Within the Business Group Ingredients of FrieslandCampina, we are recruiting for a high potential to excel in the challenging role of Customer Management Officer, with the eagerness & agility to further build their career within our dynamic, international and innovative organization.


The Customer Services Department is the first point of contact for and linking pin between (key) account management and all parties involved to exceed customer expectations, strengthen customer satisfaction for FrieslandCampina Ingredients. The department is managing deadlines, stakeholders in a complex field of interests. It is their responsibility that day-to-day issues as well as short-and long term sales & Operational processes and responsibilities are dealt with in a timely and satisfactory manner.

What will your job look like?

As a Customer Management Specialist you will be responsible for:

  1. Sales/Account Management
  • Manage and maintain close business relationship with our accounts, monitor the development & performance, and act as business partner
  • Support the sales/customer team in optimizing the business
  • Deal as 1st point of contact on daily operational matters
  • Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle support and service inquiries
  • Supporting roles in achieving annual sales budget
  1. Registration and administration
  • Manage and process the customers forecast in order to achieve high level of accuracy
  • Ensure customers details are verifiable and kept up to date in the Master Data and also CRM
  • Responsible for overall administrative settlement
  1. Processes
  • Monitor, control and adjust process in line with customer agreement and internal procedure
  • Cooperate closely with relevant departments (i.e. Order Fulfillment Officers, Demand Planner, QA, R&D and Supply Chain.
  1. Management Information
  • Provide insights regarding quantitative and qualitative developments by means of reports and analysis
  1. Questions and complaints
  • Ensure optimal customer support by being first point of contact for all questions
  • Deal with complaints in line with FrieslandCampina guidelines and procedures
  1. Policy input
  • Contribute to the Sales Policy by executing plans and by signaling trends, needs and opportunities
  • Participate in projects for continuous improvement

To be a successful in this position, you are/have:

  • Relevant Bachelor/Master degree preferable in a commercial area
  • 2-5 years’ experience in sales/customer services preferably in an international B2B environment
  • Knowledge of the computer system SAP/APO
  • Academic working-and thinking level and strong analytical skills
  • Native Dutch speaker
  • Fluent in English, both oral and in writing
  • Excellent communication skills and International and cultural sensitive
  • A team player with the ability to manage a complex set of relations both in- and externally
  • A creative thinker with a pragmatic mindset , solution oriented and a strong can do mentality
  • Proactive and assertive attitude combined with excellent planning and organizing skills
  • The ability to create focus and overview in a complex and high demanding environment
  • Accurate, disciplined and capable of dealing with stress and deadlines
  • The maturity to stay calm and professional in all circumstances
  • Dares to surprise us with unexpected and creative solutions for complex challenges
