FrieslandCampina translated the “route 2020” strategy into a Global People Strategy, with three core elements: 1) engagement 2) talent and 3) change. On a day to day basis, HR is responsible for moving the people strategy into action by taking related people and organization decisions. As an HR professional you contribute to the core of the organization, since people is the most valuable asset we have. HR does not support the business – HR is the business.
We dived our HR work into various HR roles: HR business partners, Shared Service Center and Centers of Excellence: Global Talent, Global Reward an Change Management.
