Production Supervisor Responsibilities

 

• Assigns production operators to production tasks with available personnel  
• Instructs, trains and motivates operators
• Ensure tasks are performed safely and in accordance with GMP’s and SOP’s
• Monitors and verifies performance of equipment and the production process
• Monitors digestors and maintains logs
• Monitors use of raw materials and other ingredients used in processing products
• Reviews and transfers data from batch sheets, keeps logs of events in shift notes
• Documents and reports data as required by management
• Works varied shifts as needed

 

Requirements

  • Four year degree in food science or engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience in providing work direction/supervising employees
  • Experience in a food or pharmaceutical related manufacturing facility
