Core competencies needed for this role include – Problem solving skills to identify cause and effect, identify continuous improvement opportunities, adherence to all procedures, safety, GMPs, quality programs and all company/state/federal regulatory policies are in place and consistently followed.
Proven competency in supervisory activities which require diplomacy, communicating effectively with all levels, conflict management, developing and guiding employees, managing and measuring performance, building team spirit and understanding diverse viewpoints.
A bachelors degree with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant supervisory experience in a dairy ingredient/flavors manufacturing environment is preferred. A combination of experience and education will also be considered. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, a strong safety background and mindset, high attention to detail, familiarity with SQF, HACCP and quality and sanitation policies. This position will require schedule flexibility to work all shifts (primarily 2nd and 3rd shift) and weekend coverage.
