As a nutrition expert, you bridge disciplines, co-create the nutritional strategy, and apply healthy solutions in our products to strengthen and safeguard the nutritional credibility of FrieslandCampina

 

Your primary focus is towards early life nutrition. You integrate scientific and market insights into new innovative product or ingredient concepts taking into account brand fit, legislation, cost price, technological feasibility, product knowledge, market knowledge, compliance aspects. In this way you contribute to appealing nutritional stories, better products, and speed to market. You have good listening & influencing skills, and apply this internally and externally.

 

Stellenbeschreibung

  • Serve as a point of contact for part of the early life nutrition portfolio.
  • Lead the nutritional design and substantiation of products in close association with product development and commercial teams to deliver concepts with differentiated claims.
  • Support nutrition research studies in accordance with the approved strategy to secure outcomes
  • Identify and advise on new (research) opportunities particularly in the field of early life nutrition
  • Effectively manage multiple projects (new, existing) and project types (product innovations and research), develop work streams, define resource needs and drive alignment across R&D
  • Catalyze internal and external partnerships for effective and accelerated innovation
  • Represent Development Nutrition in internal multi-functional business teams  and in relevant external forum
  • M.Sc or PhD in nutritional sciences with relevant work experience in commercial organization (3-5 year for M.Sc and upto 1-2 years for Ph.D)
  • Experience and expertise in early life nutrition or related areas preferred
  • Broad and integrated knowledge in the field of physiology, digestion and immunity
  • History of scientific presentations and publications desirable
  • Clear affinity with science, technology and marketing interface
  • Proven ability to establish, communicate with and manage expectations of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to function effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment as well as manage multiple projects simultaneously.
