The Sourcing Manager CAPEX purchases processing, packaging, automation, civil, engineering services, HVAC equipment and other machinery and/or installation services. This position is responsible to control and manage the CAPEX category procurement relationships towards vendors and business stakeholders, primarily based on established vendor agreements/contracts. The purpose of the role is to secure successful project implementation and execution with fit-for-purpose sourcing strategies and approaches within the region. This position develops, maintains and optimizes ongoing commercial relationships with vendors, to secure delivery of equipment/services at the best Cost, Quality and Service, and according to FrieslandCampina policies and standards. Major focus is on TCO of the equipment.
Manage vendor performance issues, complaints or escalations, the position holder will support project teams and/or directly engage with the vendor and business stakeholder(s) to resolve. The position holder acts as a single point of contact (SPOC) for assigned Frieslandcampina location to establish and maintain direct interfaces with the relevant project/engineering teams and towards business stakeholders.
The position holder further maintains close relationships towards other procurement category roles, support roles, to closely monitor supplier information and performance, and secures full adherence to internally required FrieslandCampina processes and procedures.
- Responsible to control and manage the assigned Capex category portfolio of Vendor Relationships
- Leads project sourcing, negotiations and change management procedures with regards to supplier engagement for investment projects.
- Accountable to finalize the vendor agreement/contracting documentation as well as contracting procedures following final negotiation.
- Monitors performance evolution, issues and complaints across the Capex vendor portfolio and agreed KPIs.
- Leverages on in-house expertise with relevant experts inside FrieslandCampina and participates in Value Engineering events to identify additional improvement opportunities.
